Bank End Boarding Kennels-High Quality Dog Care in Over 50 acres of Rolling Cumbrian Countryside

High Quality, Specialist Dog Care

Located in over 50 acres of rolling Cumbrian countryside and estuary.

Located in Grizebeck, near the A595 between Kirkby-in-Furness and Broughton-in-Furness, we are perfectly placed in a rural location – ideal for exercising and socialising your dogs.

Bank End Boarding Kennels is a family run business. David and Jessica, the father-daughter team, have many years of experience working with dogs and they manage may types of behaviours, breeds and requirements. David’s background is in farming and has experience in sheepdog training. Jessica has worked at the kennels from a young age since its inception and now works there fulltime.

The kennels is situated on a working farm (though dogs do not have access to the farm stock). We have a variety of different walks to take including walking to the river for a summer swim. Your dog will be made to feel completely at home during its stay. Whether that may be running through muddy puddles or sleeping all day long, every dog has its own individual needs catered to. We even accept the very youngest and the very oldest.

Flexible, friendly and professional service

Our aim is to make your dogs holiday just as enjoyable as your own and to provide you with a flexible, friendly, and professional service. We will always take the time to make sure every dog is relaxed and happy.

We are fully licensed, registered and insured. Should your pet need urgent medical assistance, we live on site and have access to an experienced 24/7 on-call vet at all times. Should your dog need non-urgent medical assistance, it will be taken to your specified veterinary surgery.

We know that owners can find it difficult to leave their dog at kennels. If you would like us to meet your dog before choosing to book, we are more than happy to meet them. Please call to book a time that is convenient.

To ensure that your dog gets a place in Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays (our busiest periods) booking your dog boarding in advance is strongly recommended.
